DriverID Platform Privacy Policy

OKALAB Desenvolvimento de Sistemas Ltda ("DriverID") values the privacy and security of the data processed on its platform, used by companies for documentation and driver identity analysis.

1. Purpose of Data Processing

The personal data processed by DriverID is intended to support user companies in identity verification processes, document validation, legal compliance, and logistics security. Among the data processed, the following may be included:

  • Identification data (name, CPF, date of birth);
  • Images of documents such as driver's license and vehicle registration;
  • Biometric data (selfie, face match, liveness detection);
  • Vehicle information (license plate, make, model);
  • Contact and location data, when applicable.

2. Legal Basis

Data processing carried out by DriverID is based on the legal hypotheses set forth in the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Law 13.709/2018), especially:

  • Data subject's consent, when applicable;
  • Execution of contract or preliminary procedures;
  • Legitimate interest of the contracting company, with guarantee of the data subject's rights.

3. Data Sharing

Data is accessed exclusively by user companies of the platform, which act as data controllers, and by DriverID, as operator, to enable the services provided.

We do not share data with third parties, except when:

  • Authorized by the user company;
  • Required by legal, judicial, or regulatory obligation;
  • Necessary for the protection of DriverID's or the data subject's rights.

4. Storage and Security

Data is stored in secure environments, with technical and administrative protection measures, such as encryption, access control, monitoring, and retention policies.

DriverID follows information security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of processed data.

5. Data Subjects' Rights

Drivers whose data is processed have the right to:

  • Confirmation of the existence of processing;
  • Access to their data;
  • Correction of incomplete or outdated data;
  • Anonymization or deletion of unnecessary data;
  • Withdrawal of consent, when applicable;
  • Portability and erasure, in accordance with the LGPD.

Requests should be sent to the company that contracted DriverID for analysis. In specific cases, they may also be directed to privacidade@okalab.dev.

6. Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be changed at any time to reflect process improvements or legal requirements. The most recent version will always be available on the DriverID website.

By using the DriverID platform, the company and its users agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
